PROJECT TIMEFRAME
Without a proper system to balance teams, matches often become uncompetitive, leading to player dissatisfaction and reduced engagement. Manually scheduling and managing recurring matches can be tedious and error-prone, especially for groups with many players. Without a system to rate performance and track skill levels, improving future games becomes difficult.
Balansero tackles the typical challenges of organizing sports events by automatically creating evenly matched teams based on player skill ratings. It also enables quick setup of matches with an intuitive interface. After each match, players rate their teammates, which helps in improving team balancing over time.
Phase 1
UX/UI design
We kicked off our UX/UI design process with collaborative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas. This was followed by a detailed planning phase where we defined our design objectives. Tasks were allocated according to team members' unique skills, and we leveraged design tools to monitor our progress effectively.
Phase 2
Digital product development
In the digital product development phase, teams engage in iterative cycles of design, testing, and refinement. Regular collaboration among developers, designers, and stakeholders fosters a shared vision. This phase emphasizes agility, allowing for quick pivots based on insights gathered from testing and market research.
Phase 3
Maintenance and upgrade
During the maintenance and upgrade phase, teams focus on ensuring the product remains functional and relevant. This involves monitoring performance, fixing bugs, and implementing user feedback. Regular updates are crucial, as they not only enhance features but also improve security. Collaboration with users helps identify areas for improvement, ensuring the product evolves with changing needs and technology.
